About the position

PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer for our Columbus, OH office. This position is ideal for recent graduates or those with limited experience who are eager to contribute to site development planning and design. The primary focus of this role will be on both private and public development projects, which include storm water management design, water and wastewater design, roadway and parking design, grading design, stormwater management system design, erosion and sediment control design, and construction detailing and specifications. Responsibilities

  • Assist with site development planning and design aspects for both private and public developments.
  • Engage in storm water management design, water and wastewater design, roadway and parking lot design, grading design, and erosion and sediment control design.
  • Conduct site due diligence studies and prepare construction details and specifications.
  • Assist with the permitting of commercial, residential, and industrial site development projects.
  • Prepare associated calculations and reports for various projects.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop detailed design documents for construction plans related to site development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • 0-2 years' professional engineering experience
  • E.I.T. or F.E. certification preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with direct supervision.
