As a Civil Engineer I, you will evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria on moderately complex projects. You will receive general instructions on key objectives for execution and will work under the guidance of senior staff, especially on difficult assignments. Your work will involve collaboration with senior engineers, clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design teams to address engineering project issues. You will conceptualize the initial civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development and complete civil engineering work for these phases. Additionally, you will assist in developing plans, specifications, and reports, and provide technical assistance in resolving design problems, which may include field investigations or inspections. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to work both independently and as part of a team, your motivation and problem-solving attitude, and your commitment to quality and detail.
