The Department of Environmental Services, Wastewater Engineering & Construction Division, Construction Management Branch, is looking for a Civil Engineer II to assist higher graded engineers in organizing, coordinating and directing all technical and administrative activities of simple wastewater projects. As a Civil Engineer II, your duties and responsibilities will include assisting higher grade engineers in administering simple and moderate wastewater construction contracts. You will also assist in reviewing the materials incorporated into the project for compliance, maintaining documentation relating to approved materials, certification submittals, and shop drawings incorporated into the project. Additionally, you will interpret plans and specifications for simple projects and assist in interpreting plans and specifications for moderate projects. This role may also involve performing other related duties as required. If you qualify for the position, your name will be established to an eligible list.
