About the position

The Civil Engineer in Training position at Ardurra involves working under the supervision of a Professional Engineer to perform civil design engineering tasks. The role focuses on applying standard techniques and procedures to prepare plans, cost estimates, and technical specifications for various civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepares plan details and outlines for civil engineering projects.
• Identifies quantities of materials and performs cost estimates.
• Conducts calculations for specific segments of projects.
• Assists in the preparation of technical specifications.
• Prepares technical reports or sections of larger reports.
• Performs field tests and measurements, collecting field data as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Engineer-in-Training certificate (any state).
• Experience with Civil 3D CAD or MicroStation software.
• 2+ years of civil engineering experience with residential, commercial, municipal, and/or park projects.
