About the position

Halff Associates, Inc. is actively seeking a Civil Engineer Intern for our Land Development team in our Frisco, TX office. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. The intern will gain hands-on experience in land development projects, working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment. The role requires great communication skills, as the intern will be involved in various aspects of project development and may interact with clients and team members. Interns are paid hourly, and a normal work week is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional overtime required to meet project deadlines. This position offers a unique chance to learn about the civil engineering field and contribute to meaningful projects that impact communities. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of land development projects.
  • Collaborate with team members on project tasks and deliverables.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support project objectives.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required.

Requirements
