About the position

Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. is seeking multiple Civil Engineer Interns for Summer 2025. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in land development, which is a crucial aspect of civil engineering. Interns will receive extensive training in AutoCAD and will be involved in various projects, learning from experienced civil engineers while collaborating with peers.

Responsibilities

• Receive extensive training in AutoCAD.
• Assist in creating site layouts, grading and drainage plans, and underground utility plans.
• Participate in hands-on training and tasks from civil engineers.
• Visit construction sites to observe and understand real-life applications of engineering work.
• Collaborate with other Summer Interns to develop engineering thinking and teamwork skills.
• Meet with other departments to understand their support roles in engineering projects.

Requirements

• Interest in land development and civil engineering.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles (preferred but not mandatory).

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience with AutoCAD or similar software (preferred but not mandatory).
