About The Position
The Water Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a creative and talented Civil Engineer IV, specializing in water resources and water/wastewater infrastructure. This position is designed for individuals with design and construction engineering experience in municipal projects specifically within Florida. The role presents an exciting opportunity to support the Water Resource design teams in South Florida, collaborating with various teams to complete a diverse array of projects that focus on water resources and project design. In this role, the Civil Engineer IV will be responsible for planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services, which will encompass activities centered around the design of municipal stormwater and water resources projects. The responsibilities will include overseeing the planning and design of various project elements, preparing project reports, hydraulic models, calculations, drawings, construction plans and specifications, as well as compiling permitting packages and documents for inclusion in the final project deliverables. Effective coordination with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public will be essential to achieve the assigned objectives successfully.
