Kiewit Power Engineering is seeking an Early Career Civil Engineer for our Kansas City office. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to grow within the Kiewit team by helping to establish, maintain, and improve company standards and tools. Familiarity with current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software is essential, along with an understanding of design documentation creation and layouts. Our engineering teams are dedicated to bringing power projects to life across North America, including gas-fired generation, power delivery, environmental retrofits, renewables, and new technology. This position is based out of our Lenexa, KS office, where the successful candidate will assist in evaluating, selecting, and applying engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to site development projects. The role involves designing for assigned systems, utilizing knowledge of departmental design standards, and collaborating with various project personnel to ensure quality and adherence to engineering codes. The candidate will also be expected to provide recommendations on designs and processes, work closely with Kiewit construction partners, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
