About the position

The Civil Engineer position at our reputable engineering and land planning firm involves providing engineering design leadership for private land development projects. Responsibilities

• Prepare site civil development plans including site and paving plans, grading plans, erosion control plans, watermain plans, storm sewer plans, and sanitary sewer plans.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software for project design.
• Conduct zoning and permitting research related to land development projects.
• Design utility systems and manage storm water management systems.

Requirements

• E.I.T. (Engineer in Training) or P.E. (Professional Engineer) certification is strongly encouraged.
• Experience in engineering design of land development projects.
• Proficiency in utility design and site grading.
• Knowledge of storm water management systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with zoning research and permitting processes.
• Familiarity with additional engineering software beyond AutoCAD Civil 3D.
