The primary role of the Civil Engineer will be to provide engineering design and leadership for private land development projects. This includes preparing comprehensive site civil development plans that encompass various aspects of land development, such as site and paving plans, grading plans, erosion control plans, watermain plans, storm sewer plans, and sanitary sewer plans. The engineer will utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and a variety of other engineering software to execute these tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site civil development plans including site and paving plans, grading plans, erosion control plans, watermain plans, storm sewer plans, and sanitary sewer plans.
• Provide engineering design and leadership for private land development projects.
• Conduct zoning and permitting research as part of project planning.
• Design utility systems and manage storm water management systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met and exceeded.

Requirements

• E.I.T. or P.E. strongly encouraged to apply.
• Experience in engineering design of land development projects.
• Proficiency in utility design and site grading.
• Knowledge of storm water management systems.
• Ability to conduct zoning and permitting research.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software.
