About the position

The Civil Engineer position focuses on providing engineering design and leadership for private land development projects within a reputable and growing engineering and land planning firm. The role emphasizes the preparation of various civil development plans and the use of engineering software to meet and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site civil development plans including site and paving plans, grading plans, erosion control plans, watermain plans, storm sewer plans, and sanitary sewer plans.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software for project design and management.
• Conduct zoning and permitting research to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Design utility systems and manage storm water management systems.

Requirements

• E.I.T. or P.E. certification is strongly encouraged.
• Experience in engineering design of land development projects.
• Proficiency in utility design and site grading.
• Knowledge of storm water management systems.
• Ability to conduct zoning and permitting research.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
