As a Civil Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will play a crucial role in the development of land plans for a diverse range of clients, including commercial, institutional, and energy sectors. Responsibilities

  • Design site layouts and grading plans for various land development projects.
  • Develop stormwater management facilities and water quality best management practices.
  • Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in the regulatory review process and ensure compliance with local codes and ordinances.
  • Assist in the bidding process and support construction activities.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree is a plus).
  • 1-7 years of progressive engineering experience.
  • E.I.T. or F.E. certification preferred (P.E. certification is a plus).
  • Proficiency in computer modeling software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and HydraFlow.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to research and understand local codes and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Experience in commercial real estate site design is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with environmental engineering practices.
