About the position
The Civil Engineer-Land Development position at Robson Forensic involves utilizing extensive training and experience in civil engineering to conduct investigations, analyses, and provide expert testimony in civil litigation and insurance claims. The role requires a strong background in land development and construction project management, focusing on delivering technical expertise to resolve complex issues in the legal and scientific community.
Responsibilities
- Perform investigations and analyses related to civil engineering cases.
- Prepare detailed reports based on findings and analyses.
- Provide expert testimony in legal settings as required.
- Manage and oversee land development and construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements on construction sites.
- Collaborate with a team of experts and work independently as needed.
Requirements
- PE license required.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution is required.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in land development and/or site/civil/heavy construction project management.
- Experience with safety requirements and issues on construction sites.
- Ability to safely climb and navigate ladders, roofs, scaffolding, etc. for inspection activities.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team.
- Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in community development or residential land development.
- Experience in commercial land development, commercial construction, single-family home construction, commercial recreational construction, and/or heavy construction.
