Responsibilities

  • Plan and design residential, commercial, and industrial development projects, including lot layout, grading, stormwater management, and utilities for national and local land developers.
  • Prepare and review drawings and specifications documenting the systems designed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met within deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Project to create and manage project plans and designs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Civil Engineering with a focus on Land Development.
  • EIT or PE certification preferred but not required.
  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, and MS Office.
  • Land Surveying experience and knowledge is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and hardworking with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Well organized with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing projects across the entire life cycle.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes in California.
