AKS Engineering & Forestry (AKS) is seeking a professional civil engineer as a full-time Land Development Project Manager for an exciting opportunity in the Kennewick, WA area. This position is ideal for a registered professional who can take the lead on the design of private land development projects and can independently manage tasks. As a Land Development Project Manager, you will provide project management and leadership for site development projects, collaborating with our dedicated team. Depending on your background and interests, you could manage various types of projects, including residential, industrial, commercial, education, or recreational developments. Our collaborative team environment provides access to in-house technical experts to help you meet client needs. You may also manage outside subconsultants for additional expertise. Specific responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new opportunities in site development, managing and mentoring engineering staff, stamping final deliverables, developing and managing project scope, budget, and schedule, providing technical leadership for the project design team, coordinating with other in-house disciplines and outside subconsultants, providing QA/QC review of deliverables, managing all components of the project from proposal through construction, performing site and infrastructure design per county/city standards, and maintaining good communication with jurisdiction planning/engineering staff to minimize future changes and misunderstandings. Additionally, you will network with clients, agency personnel, and colleagues to build and maintain a professional network, actively participate in monthly in-house Project Management Meetings, and drive a company-owned vehicle to job sites and meetings.
