About the position

Ralph L Wadsworth Construction is seeking a Civil Engineer, Land Surveyor, Drafter, or CAD Designer with expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and experience in civil engineering and land surveying. The role involves drafting construction plans and conducting surveys for various projects, including Mission Critical, Industrial, and Transportation sectors. The position is based in Draper, UT, and requires in-office work for 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Draft construction plans, road and utility plan profiles, site design, grading, and utility design.
• Draft boundary surveys, existing condition surveys, and topographic surveys.
• Model gravity and pressure pipe networks in Civil 3D.
• Create surfaces, grading features, and corridors in Civil 3D.

Requirements

• 2-3 years' experience with drafting.
• 2-3 years' experience in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center is required.
• A related degree in Civil Engineering, Survey, or Architecture is preferred or related industry experience of 2-3 years.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Sketchup and 3D modeling.
