Our Civil Engineer, PE - Water-Wastewater position is an exciting opportunity for professionals looking to make a positive impact on our planet. This role is based in the Seattle, WA office, with the potential for full-time remote work, and involves active participation in the design and coordination of water and wastewater projects for the Pacific Northwest Water/Wastewater group. The successful candidate will not only engage in engineering design but also have the opportunity to develop project management skills and take on responsibilities that contribute to the success of our projects. As a design engineer, you will work on a variety of municipal wastewater projects, including treatment facilities, pumping systems, pipelines, and collection systems. Your role will involve coordinating multi-discipline design teams, leading the planning and evaluation of preferred alternatives, and performing both conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses. You will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documents, ensuring that standard engineering practices are followed and that appropriate documentation is included in all reports and design projects. In addition to design responsibilities, you will also provide construction support services, which may include field meetings, submittal reviews, shop drawing reviews, and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs). This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about engineering and are eager to contribute to resilient engineering designs that support the infrastructure of the United States.
