Our Frisco, Colorado office is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team, where you will engage in civil engineering analysis and design for a diverse range of projects. These projects include municipal, commercial, and private developments, focusing on areas such as stormwater management, grading, multiuse paths, complete/green streets, water and sewer pipelines, pump stations, retaining walls, and bridges. In this role, you will be responsible for civil engineering infrastructure design, which encompasses streets, grading, hydraulic design, erosion control, storm drainage, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems. You will perform both conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses, support the preparation of detailed engineering reports and construction documents, and ensure adherence to standard engineering practices. Your ability to evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with other engineering disciplines will be crucial to the success of our projects. Additionally, you will provide construction support services, including field meetings and review of submittals and shop drawings. Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering analysis and design for various municipal, commercial, and private development projects.
• Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses.
• Support the preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensure standard engineering practices and appropriate documentation on reports and design projects.
• Evaluate alternatives and resolve technical issues while interfacing with other engineering disciplines.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner.
• Provide construction support services, including field meetings, submittal review, and shop drawing review.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
• EIT Certification is required; Colorado Professional Engineering license (PE) is preferred.
• Experience with grading and drainage, hydrology and hydraulics, and streets is ideal.
• Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Experience with municipal, commercial, or residential infrastructure projects is desired, including design and permitting of roadway, street, bikeway, erosion control, grading, storm drainage, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems.
• Ability to self-direct and self-check plan sets and reports is essential.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, word processing, and spreadsheet management programs is required.
