Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering infrastructure design including streets, grading, hydraulic design, and storm drainage systems.
• Conduct conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses.
• Support the preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensure adherence to standard engineering practices and appropriate documentation on reports and design projects.
• Evaluate alternatives and resolve technical issues while interfacing with other engineering disciplines.
• Provide construction support services including field meetings and submittal reviews.
• Execute work in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering.
• EIT Certification required; Colorado Professional Engineering license (PE) preferred.
• Experience with grading and drainage, hydrology, and hydraulics.
• Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office products.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with municipal, commercial, or residential infrastructure projects.
• Background in the design and permitting of roadway, street, bikeway, and erosion control projects.
