About the position

Dewberry is seeking a Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join their Panama City, FL office, focusing on site/civil design for various development projects. This role offers the opportunity to mentor entry-level staff and work on innovative projects while managing client relationships and collaborating with design teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships as a Project Manager.
• Oversee site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design using Civil 3D.
• Prepare associated calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.
• Collaborate and manage design teams to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
• Conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain necessary permits.
• Assist with site plan approvals in the area.
• Complete construction cost estimating.

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required.
• Eight (8) years or more experience in the design and execution of Land Development Projects required.
• PE (Professional Engineer) license required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office is required.
• Knowledge of ICPR4 preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients.
