About the position

Renner Associates, LLC is seeking a talented Civil Engineer Project Manager to oversee the design, review, and management of various civil engineering projects. This role involves applying civil engineering principles to execute tasks effectively, managing administrative duties related to project management, and ensuring quality control to uphold project standards. The position also includes providing guidance and mentorship to team members and assuming the duties of a Project Manager when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, review, and management of civil engineering projects.
• Manage administrative duties related to project management for civil and site projects.
• Develop construction bid documentation in compliance with government and client standards.
• Ensure quality control to uphold project standards.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
• Assume the duties of a Project Manager when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering.
• Capability to obtain a South Dakota Professional Engineer (PE) License within six (6) months of hire.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments concurrently while meeting deadlines.
• Comprehensive understanding of civil engineering plan sets, construction, and structures.
• Strong aptitude for both independent work and collaboration within a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
