This role involves managing client relationships and overseeing site/civil development projects, including grading design, roadway design, and stormwater management. The position also includes mentoring entry-level staff and collaborating with design teams to produce detailed construction plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships as a Project Manager.
• Oversee site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, stormwater management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design using Civil 3D.
• Prepare associated calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.
• Collaborate and manage design teams to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
• Conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain necessary permits.
• Assist with site plan approvals in the area.
• Complete construction cost estimating.

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required.
• 5-10 years of progressive experience required.
• Florida PE required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office is required.
• Knowledge of ICPR preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Effective communication with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.
