About the position

The position involves working with multidisciplinary project teams in civil engineering design and analysis, focusing on site layout, grading, drainage, and mass earthwork. The role includes technical assignments such as design using CADD modeling software, preparation of construction plans, and project management responsibilities. The individual will also mentor junior engineers and engage in business development and project planning, while being open to short-term out-of-town assignments.

Responsibilities

• Work with multidisciplinary project teams on civil engineering design and analysis.
• Perform technical assignments including design with CADD modeling software.
• Prepare construction plans and specifications.
• Conduct construction cost estimating and facility inspection.
• Engage in project management, planning, and scheduling.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to enhance their skills.
• Participate in business development activities.
• Prepare large reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 10 or more years of related work experience.
• Professional engineer (PE) certification or ability to obtain it within one year.
• Project management experience with a successful execution record.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Civil 3D, and computer simulation modeling.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a project team environment.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
