About the position
The Civil Engineering Technician will support land development and infrastructure projects within a hybrid work environment. This role involves utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and applying civil engineering principles to prepare and modify construction drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Proficiently use AutoCAD Civil 3D for design tasks.
- Prepare and modify construction drawings for land development projects.
- Apply strong analytical skills to assess project requirements and outcomes.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology; Bachelor's preferred.
- 2+ years of full-time, relevant land development engineering experience.
- Land Development experience is essential.
- General understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic processes.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management Design, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Design, and Utility Design.
- General knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and techniques related to construction materials, methods, and procedures.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
