As a Civil Engineer in our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that significantly impact communities and infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), also known as Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) or Traffic Impact Assessment, to evaluate the effects of development on traffic and transportation systems. You will engage in signal design and the production of plans for roadway projects, which includes establishing horizontal and vertical alignments, creating cross-sections, and developing existing and proposed plan profiles. Your expertise will also extend to drainage design, including hydrology and hydraulics, as well as calculations for detention ponds, storm sewer systems, and sanitary sewer systems. Additionally, you will be involved in designing erosion prevention and sedimentation controls (EPSC) and will conduct site visits to monitor construction progress. This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $140,000 per year, with the potential to earn double your base salary through our strong bonus structure. Responsibilities

  • Conduct Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) to assess the impact of developments on traffic and transportation systems.
  • Engage in signal design for roadway projects.
  • Produce design plans for roadway projects, including establishing horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, and plan profiles.
  • Perform calculations for drainage systems, including hydrology and hydraulics, detention ponds, storm sewer systems, and sanitary sewer systems.
  • Design erosion prevention and sedimentation controls (EPSC).
  • Conduct site visits to observe and report on construction progress.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in traffic, transportation, or roadway design.
  • Experience with Traffic Impact Studies (TIS).
