WisDOT is recruiting to fill multiple Senior level Civil Engineer Transportation positions located in the Division of Transportation System Development (DTSD) offices throughout the State. This is a continuous recruitment, and applications will be reviewed biweekly. Positions are available in various regions including Southeast (SE) in Waukesha, Southwest (SW) in LaCrosse or Madison, Northwest (NW) in Superior, Eau Claire, and Spooner, North Central (NC) in Rhinelander and Wisconsin Rapids, Northeast (NE) in Green Bay, and Central Office Bureau positions in Madison or Milwaukee. As a Civil Engineer Transportation Senior, you will be responsible for performing professional engineering senior level duties and applying engineering expertise for multi-modal transportation programs. You will work in one of the department's engineering program areas that may include design, construction, utilities, soils, planning, traffic, and maintenance of transportation facilities. Under general supervision, this position performs independently and has extensive authority in carrying out assigned responsibilities. Work at this level requires a high degree of interpretation and creativity in evaluating and carrying out engineering assignments.
