The ideal candidate will lead teams and projects, contributing to the design and development of innovative water resource engineering solutions. As a Civil Water Resource Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing various water resource engineering projects. This includes developing and reviewing project proposals to ensure they meet client needs, coordinating design efforts with project managers, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will implement effective stormwater management strategies and solutions, coordinate labor and equipment resources, and review plans, specifications, and estimates at various project stages to ensure completeness and accuracy. In this role, you will utilize your working knowledge of design standards to create innovative engineering solutions while applying your expertise in AASHTO, MUTCD, WEG, APWA, and AWWA to ensure compliance and quality. You will also be expected to utilize software tools such as ArcGIS, InfoSWMM, and CAD for data analysis and project design, conduct field surveys and inspections to gather data, and prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and project updates.
