About the position

Fisher Arnold is seeking a Civil Engineer, Water/Wastewater, for the Memphis, TN or Jonesboro, AR office. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various water distribution, water storage and treatment, gravity sewer and pressure sewer. Wastewater treatment experience is a plus. Other duties will include field inspections, communication with clients, managing work with other departments at Fisher Arnold, and some technical writing. This engineer will grow with the General Civil department and have an opportunity to design and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various water distribution, water storage and treatment projects.
• Conduct field inspections and communicate with clients.
• Manage work with other departments at Fisher Arnold.
• Engage in technical writing related to projects.
• Design and manage projects within the General Civil department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university.
• Engineer Intern (E.I) required or Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
• 7+ years of consulting experience in municipal infrastructure.
• Demonstrable water and wastewater treatment process design experience is a plus.
• Experience in construction document preparation and modeling is a plus.
• Proficient in the utilization of Autodesk Civil3D; knowledge of ArcGIS is a plus.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in wastewater treatment processes.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS software.
