Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, engineering evaluations, and analyses of hydroelectric projects to ensure safety.
  • Communicate findings from inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with licensing terms and regulations.
  • Prepare engineering reports, internal memos, and letters to document dam safety and public safety of hydroelectric projects.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
  • One full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 level, specifically in structural engineering analysis of concrete water retaining structures and hydroelectric facilities.
  • Education requirement: transcripts must be submitted to verify qualifications.
