Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers and other discipline Engineers and designers to produce quality drawings.
• Create engineering markups for CAD technicians.
• Review survey and basemap drawings on projects.
• Serve as a productive team member and discipline lead to manage project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet various deadlines.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Stamp work as engineer of record with PE if licensed.
• Develop earthwork quantities and generate reports with an understanding of sloping grades.
• Coordinate activities between all disciplines at the project level, including stormwater, erosion control, site development, and underground utilities.
• Provide quality checking of drafted products.
• Mentor junior staff as needed.
• Support water and wastewater projects and other business groups within the firm.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience.
• EIT certification required; PE preferred or the ability to obtain PE once hired.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work products and client service.
• Experience with MS Office 365 (Email, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Working knowledge of Autodesk and Bentley CAD platforms.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation Inroads or OpenRoads is a plus.
• Ability to lead projects with moderate to minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
