About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer, either an Engineer in Training (EIT) or a Professional Engineer (PE), to join our dynamic team in Meridian, Idaho. This is an urgent position that will be filled quickly, and we are looking for someone who is ready to contribute to a variety of civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and designing civil and site development projects, which include site layout, grading, stormwater management, and utilities. You will collaborate with a multi-discipline team of architects, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers, and structural engineers on diverse projects that span higher education, retail, commercial, and industrial sectors. In this role, you will work closely with other technical staff from various offices to provide consulting engineering services to state and private universities, national retailers, municipalities, architects, and local development clients. You will also engage with other Civil Engineering teams within the organization, including Municipal, Transportation, Water Resources, and Water/Wastewater projects. Daily interactions with project teams in a multi-disciplinary and multi-office environment will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and design civil and site development projects including site layout, grading, stormwater management, and utilities.
  • Collaborate with a multi-discipline team of architects, MEP, and structural engineers on various projects.
  • Provide consulting engineering services to state and private universities, national retailers, municipalities, architects, and local development clients.
  • Work with other Civil Engineering teams including Municipal, Transportation, Water Resources, and Water/Wastewater projects.
  • Interact daily with project teams in a multi-disciplinary and multi-office environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in site development or general civil engineering.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
  • Excellent computer and communication skills.
