Daily interactions with project teams across various disciplines and offices will be essential to ensure that projects remain on track and progress smoothly. Your hands-on experience will be invaluable as you conduct site evaluations, feasibility studies, and technical assessments. You will also prepare and review detailed engineering plans, designs, and specifications, ensuring that all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations from start to finish. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, as well as proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong organizational skills will help you manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and design diverse development projects, including lot layout, grading, stormwater management, and utilities.

Requirements

  • EIT or PE certification is required.
  • Proven experience in land development, whether new to the industry or with several years of experience.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
