About the position

We are looking for an Engineer in Training (EIT) or a Professional Engineer (PE) to join our Civil Engineering firm in Kent, Washington. This is an urgent position that we aim to fill quickly. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and designing civil and site development projects, which include site layout, grading, stormwater management, and utilities. You will work collaboratively with a multi-discipline team of architects, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers, and structural engineers on a variety of projects, including those in higher education, retail, commercial, and industrial sectors. In this role, you will closely interact with other technical staff from various offices to provide consulting engineering services to state and private universities, national retailers, municipalities, architects, and local development clients. You will also collaborate with other Civil Engineering teams within the firm, including those focused on municipal, transportation, water resources, and water/wastewater projects. Daily interactions with project teams in a multi-disciplinary and multi-office environment will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in site development or general civil engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software is essential, along with excellent computer and communication skills. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in site development or general civil engineering.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
  • Excellent computer and communication skills.
