About the position

We are a fast-growing civil and structural design firm with multiple offices throughout Northern and Southern California. Our firm specializes in engineering projects across both commercial and residential sectors, ranging from custom-built homes to larger mid-rise developments. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team in our Laguna Beach location. We provide a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, along with discretionary bonuses and full benefits, including a 401k plan.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience working at an engineering firm.
• Proficiency with computer and design software relevant to civil engineering.
• Strong interest in working in a small-team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with custom residential or commercial projects.
• Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
