About the position

The Civil Engineer position at our Bend, OR office involves working within a small team to design and support site development and public infrastructure projects. The role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to meet multiple deadlines while producing high-quality work under the guidance of a Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Design and support the work of site development and public infrastructure projects.
• Perform technical calculations, estimates, and reports.
• Design roads, grading, drainage, sewer, water, storm water, erosion control, and franchise utilities.
• Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Oregon; licenses in other states are a plus.
• 5-10 years of related work experience.
• Solid understanding of civil design and construction standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficient ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail.
• Relationship with local agencies is a plus.
