A well-established, reputable, and growing Civil Engineering and Land Planning firm is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join their team in Milford, New Hampshire. The primary role of the Civil Engineer will be to provide engineering design and leadership for private land development projects. In this role, the Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing comprehensive site civil development plans. This includes creating detailed site and paving plans, grading plans, erosion control plans, watermain plans, storm sewer plans, and sanitary sewer plans. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software is essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering design, particularly in land development projects, and will be expected to demonstrate leadership in managing these projects from conception through to completion. Responsibilities

  • Prepare site civil development plans including site and paving plans, grading plans, erosion control plans, watermain plans, storm sewer plans, and sanitary sewer plans.

  • Conduct zoning and permitting research as required for projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to create detailed project plans.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met.

Requirements

  • PE License or EIT (Engineer in Training) strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in engineering design of land development projects.
  • Proficiency in utility design and site grading.
  • Knowledge of storm water management systems.
  • Ability to conduct zoning and permitting research.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
