About the position
Graves Engineering, Inc. is seeking a full-time experienced civil engineer to join their team in Worcester, Massachusetts. The role involves a mix of office and field work, focusing on various civil engineering projects including commercial, housing, wastewater, water, institutional, municipal, and subdivision projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for design, preparation of plans, stormwater management reports, and ensuring compliance with local and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare plans for various civil engineering projects including commercial, housing, and municipal projects.
- Prepare stormwater management reports and permitting applications.
- Review plans and supporting documents for compliance with local and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project deliverables.
- Manage project timelines and ensure quality of work.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a similar field.
- Minimum of five years of civil engineering experience in relevant areas.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and HydroCAD software.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Pursuing or obtained MA Professional Civil Engineer License.
- Desire to work in Central Massachusetts.
