About The Position
As a Civil Engineer at Ilya Engineering & Development, Inc., you will be responsible for managing and directing construction operations and maintenance activities at various project sites. Your role will involve inspecting these sites to monitor progress and ensure that all work conforms to design specifications as well as safety and sanitation standards. You will compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, and material stress factors to determine the necessary design specifications for each project. Additionally, you will be tasked with testing soils and materials to assess the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel used in construction.
