About the position

We're seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will utilize Civil 3D to create designs of grading/earthwork, erosion control and stormwater pollution prevention plans, and pavement design. You will also prepare engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various aspects of site development projects. You may be required to visit project sites for field inspection if necessary, and will also assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and design review. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and offers long term growth potential, with the possibility to move into a Project Management position, run your own projects, and develop junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Civil 3D to create designs of grading/earthwork, erosion control, and stormwater pollution prevention plans.
• Prepare engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various aspects of site development projects.
• Visit project sites for field inspection as necessary.
• Assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and design review.
• Work closely with senior leadership and contribute to long-term growth potential.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD for site design and land development.
• Experience in preparing engineering analysis and designs for site development projects.
• Strong project management skills including scheduling and budgeting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Excellent time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in industrial, multi-family, and K-12 higher education projects.
• Familiarity with erosion control and stormwater pollution prevention plans.
