About the position

Hawaii Off-Grid is seeking a passionate Civil Engineer to join their Engineering Team in Haiku. The role focuses on sustainable and modern design, particularly in net-zero and off-grid solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to various civil engineering projects while collaborating closely with the design team and managing multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Designing IWS and other Wastewater solutions.
• Grading and Drainage designs.
• Drafting details and BMPs.
• Designing Stormwater mitigation strategies.
• Collaborating with Designers to develop civil engineering solutions.
• Creating templates and improving work process efficiency.
• Developing Construction and Permit Sets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Professional Degree in Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a professional office setting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CIVIL3D, or comparable software.
• Knowledge in ArchiCAD is a plus.
• Efficiency in Project Management Software - Monday, Google Suite, Adobe Suite, and Dropbox.
