Come grow with us! Are you ready to make a difference? We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Civil Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO. The Civil Engineer will work closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting design and construction projects. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to project outcomes, interact routinely with project Principals, and grow professionally. The Civil Engineer will use AutoCAD Civil 3D as a design tool to prepare engineering drawings and related graphics, perform calculations, and integrate with other engineering software. They will also assist with the preparation of technical reports, data tables, specifications, and other deliverables, while providing construction quality assurance services and other field services on construction projects. The role includes performing environmental sampling and data analysis, coordinating with project team members and clients, and preparing documentation detailing construction observations. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of relevant experience and possess a BS in Civil Engineering, with proficiency in using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Strong organizational and time management skills, along with a client-service orientation, are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare engineering drawings and related graphics.
  • Perform calculations and integrate with other engineering software.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical reports, data tables, specifications, and other deliverables.
  • Provide construction quality assurance services and other field services on construction projects.
  • Prepare documentation detailing construction observations.
  • Perform environmental sampling and data analysis, including the collection of air, water, and soil samples.
  • Coordinate with project team members and clients.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years relevant experience in civil engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate strong quantitative and observational skills.
  • Solid attention to detail and technical understanding.
  • Client-service orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver to meet expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as a team member with a collaborative communication style.
