About the position

Actalent is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Land Site Development Civil Engineer to assist in the planning, design, and development of land and site projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards while collaborating with senior engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of site development plans and designs using CAD software.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and perform inspections.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop project specifications and ensure project goals are met.
• Perform calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
• Prepare and review technical reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Support the permitting process by preparing necessary documentation and applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise work.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Internship or coursework experience in land development or site engineering is a plus.
