About the position
AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team in Bakersfield, California. This role involves supporting engineering design and analysis under the supervision of experienced engineers, contributing to projects in the water sector. Responsibilities
- Builds analytic and design skills.
- Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- US citizenship is required due to the nature of work.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience or coursework in water or wastewater and general civil engineering.
