The role involves conducting business development tasks, managing project proposals, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, the Civil Engineer will be responsible for mentoring and developing staff, coordinating resources, and ensuring that the team meets client needs effectively. Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain client relationships with new and existing clients
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and meet organizational goals
• Conduct business development tasks, including identifying, selling, and delivering meaningful work for your team
• Oversee and manage projects that improve communities, including Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Studies, engineering analysis/design, I/I programs, and real-time monitoring
• Develop and review project proposals and scopes of work to meet clients' schedule and budget
• Manage your team's utilization and weekly workflow to ensure projects are delivered on time, budget, and meet client needs
• Grow and develop staff through training and mentorship
• Coordinate labor and equipment resources and hiring needs as workloads require

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer certification required
• Experience in water resources and wastewater, structural, or transportation
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS, InfoSWMM, and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with AASHTO, MUTCD, WEG, APWA, and AWWA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suites
• Proven leadership ability to build alliances with leadership, teams, and customers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative problem-solving and decision-making abilities
