Responsibilities

• Design portions of a project as needed.
• Make calculations using engineering formulas and skills.
• Specify items using catalogs where original design is not required.
• Instruct drafters on reducing designs into completed drawings.
• Perform research and write opinions on engineering matters.
• Use computers to run standard programs to solve engineering problems.
• Perform other assigned work as necessary.
• Work safely and adhere to the firm's policies and procedures.
• Design portions of a project with minimal oversight.
• Manage task budgets under the supervision of a Project Manager.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering (Bachelor's or Master's).
• 0-5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with no experience.
• Passed the EIT Exam.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective technical skills.
• Team working skills.
• Understanding of the physical environment and its interaction with the built environment.
