About the position

I am partnered with a respected Civil Engineering Firm that operates across multiple disciplines and maintains an office in the metropolitan area. They are currently seeking a Project Engineer who is dedicated to achieving excellence. This firm is committed to meticulous project planning, innovative design, and effective management to not only meet but exceed client expectations. As they expand their team, they are looking for a highly motivated engineer to join them. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, design, and developing plans. You will manage projects, conduct on-site investigations, and create and maintain construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design civil engineering projects.
• Manage projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct on-site investigations to assess project feasibility.
• Create and maintain construction project plans and timelines.
• Analyze project drawings, layouts, and data for effective execution.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards in project designs.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of project site design experience in land development.
• Experience with project analysis, drawings, layouts, RFI response, and field inspection.
• EIT or PE certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in commercial and residential development projects.
• Knowledge of grading plans, utility design, and stormwater management design.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting photographs, drawings, and maps.
