Responsibilities

  • Prepare designs and related work for structures such as buildings, powerplants, and bridges.
  • Develop construction and procurement specifications.
  • Review and provide input on contract bids and proposals.
  • Prepare and coordinate cost estimates.
  • Provide technical assistance on the adequacy and safety of existing structures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
  • Professional registration as an Engineer Intern (EI) or Engineer in Training (EIT) or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Experience in engineering analyses and design studies.
  • Ability to prepare engineering documentation and project plans.
