About the position

Barge Design Solutions, a leading and innovative Architecture and Engineering firm, is currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineers to join our dynamic team. We are looking for Mid-Level and Senior Civil Engineers to work in various locations including Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Ohio, and Florida, with opportunities available in 17 locations. Our projects span various disciplines including Structural, Transportation, Environmental, Water, Construction Management, Urban Planning, and many more. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute various civil engineering projects.
  • Develop project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Work on civil-site projects including preparation of grading, drainage, site layout, utility and erosion control plans.
  • Partner with internal project management team members by providing technical input and guidance for client conversations and multi-discipline design meetings.
  • Occasionally visit job sites for construction observation duties.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years' proven experience in civil engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proficient in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and client/customer management skills.
