About the position
The Civil Engineer position at Actalent involves the preparation of civil engineering designs for permits and construction, focusing on site planning, land development, and various engineering projects. The role requires a blend of technical skills in civil engineering and the ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of civil engineering designs for permit and construction.
- General site planning and civil engineering land development.
- MD State Highway Administration roadway design projects.
- Residential and commercial site design.
- Storm water management design.
- Storm drain design.
- Water and sewer design.
- Sediment and erosion control plans.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- 2-4 years of relevant land development engineering experience.
- At least 3 years working with AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
- High level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice-to-haves
- PE or the ability to become licensed within one year.
