Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers and other discipline Engineers and designers to produce quality drawings
• Create engineering markups for CAD technicians
• Review survey and basemap drawings on projects
• Serve as a productive team member and discipline lead to manage project documents from beginning to end
• Stamp work as engineer of record with PE if licensed
• Develop earthwork quantities and generate reports with an understanding of sloping grades
• Coordinate activities between all disciplines at the project level, including stormwater, erosion control, site development, and underground utilities
• Provide quality checking of drafted products
• Mentor junior staff as needed
• Support water and wastewater projects and other business groups within the firm

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience
• EIT required; PE preferred or the ability to obtain PE once hired
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work products and client service
• Experience with MS Office 365 (Email, Excel, Word, Teams)
• Experience or working knowledge with Autodesk and Bentley CAD platforms
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation Inroads or OpenRoads is a plus
• Ability to lead projects with moderate to minimal supervision
• Ability to travel as needed
